In truth, I was watching MTV's "Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel" (which I recognize as trash but can't seem to pull myself away from) and saw an ad that said the video's WORLD PREMIERE (emphasis theirs) was going to happen an hour later that same night. From what I can tell, they don't play videos other than on special occasions of just this sort. As for playing Johnny Cash...well, just look at that list of celebrities who appeared in the video--what 14-year-old kid is really going to care who's singing the song when he can see Kate Moss's butt? The regularly scheduled programming still consists of the usual garbage like "Wild 'n' Out" and "Date My Mom".

i got an email from the cash myspace page informing of the the link to watch.
i know about 75% of the people in the video have been at tributes, recorded with johnny, or were friends... but im at a loss for kate moss. heck even justin timberlake(choke) gave a great acceptance speech 3 years ago when he credited cash for influencing him and that it was a travesty johnny didnt win for "hurt".
i agree that the chance of a 14 year old kid thats into johnny cash would be watching mtv. most kids i know that listen to johnny are into punk /rockabilly/country.
